    The prooven and modular design of the APS-3 allows maximum flexibility in product use to maximize the return of survey equipment investment. The product is compact and lightweight, with all wireless modules completely internal for ultra portability.

    For ease of use and simplicity, the APS-3 is completely configurable from the data collector via Bluetooth for either Base or Rover operation with the internal UHF radio, or for Network Rover operation with the internal cellular modem.

    The powerful multi-frequency AsteRx made by Septentrio receiver provides GPS, GLONASS & SBAS as standard with every APS-3, as well as the option for GALILEO and Compass.

     

    The new Generation of the Altus APS-3 GNSS reeiver includes:

    • 136 Channels
    • Integrated Quad-Band GSM/GPRS Modem or CDMA Modem for US/Can
    • Integrated 406-470 MHz Digital UHF Transceiver for RTK
    • Integrated Bluetooth
    • Dual Hot Swap Li-Ion Batteries with Fuel Gauge
    • Removable min. 2 GB SD Card Storage

    With Altus’s open architecture philosophy, the user has a choice of data collection software including MicroSurvey FIELDGenius and Carlson SurvCE, or custom software.

    • Connect an external radio for greater base transmit power or use the external radio as a cable free repeater
    • Removable SD Card enables plug and play raw data transfer for post processing
